Ghanta Bell

Beautiful brass ghanta bell, a Tibetan Buddhist ritual object representing the feminine power, wisdom, receptiveness, and the voice of the Buddha. The base of the ghanta is round and the handle is topped with a closed vajra. The dark patina enhances the embossed design.
It is usually paired with the vajra for a ritual gesture that is performed crossing the ghanta and vajra over the chest, representing completeness in the union of the male and female principles.
