Tingsha cymbals are traditionally used by Tibetan Buddhists to clear the mind for meditative purposes, marking the opening and closing of meditation.
They are also used by the Buddhist master to bring a student back into focus when his mind wanders during meditation.
This beautiful pair of tingsha cymbals is embossed with swirling dragons and produces a clear, high-pitched tone when struck.
A very nice object for the home temple.
